2004–DaimlerChrysler Services North America has 5,500 employees who manage a portfolio of $85 billion and nearly five million contracts.

2007–DaimlerChrysler Board of Management sells 80.1 percent ownership of the Chrysler Group, and with it Chrysler Financial, to Cerberus Capital Management LP. The financial services company is divided.
